Fitness Weekend at the Brampton
Do you ever wish you could do a weekend away where you get to let your hair down but built into the itinerary is an hour of fitness in the morning to make that cocktail later on taste even better / make you feel less guilty? Our on site executive chef is also going to prepare a menu that is low in carbs and high in flavor so that you don’t have to worry about your diet either.
The fitness will be a mixture of cross fit and circuit training and encompass all the Great Outdoors has to offer. Think Rocky II meets Equinox. Sort of.
Friday 2nd June
1400hrs: Team meet in Midtown. Squeak out of Manhattan mid afternoon with a pit stop at Hudson Distillery if the group so wishes. We can organize a tour there for people that are interested and tasting is only $10 (and bloody good fun).
1800hrs: Arrive Brampton for cocktail reception, an attempt at stories from your hosts and settling in.
1930hrs: Delicious 3 course dinner cooked by Executive Chef Pas from the Seed Experience
2100 hrs: Fire pit and entertainment
Saturday 3rd June
0800hrs: As the sun comes up over the Adirondacks, sit and listen in peace to the Hudson river with a light breakfast of coffee / tea / snacks
0930hrs: Get ready to sweat. Meet by yoga deck for fitness training (this will be circuit training on the yoga deck, with some hill running and lifting / chopping wood!)
1100hrs: Restore. Brunch (eggs and avocado focused)
1200hrs: Time for some fun in water…. splash splash. Leave for Lake George - group will explore the islands with time for sun bathing, water skiing and swimming in our favorite swimming holes.
1600hrs: Back to shore for cocktail at Blue Manor - a beautiful location with a balcony that overlooks the Lake.
1700hrs: Who can start a fire without using matches?! Outdoor BBQ by the fire cooked by Pas
1900hrs: Party in the barn (ping pong, beer pong, pool, darts, Cornhole etc..). Resident DJ Jamie in the house although (with interview), others may apply.
Sunday 4th June
0900hrs: Breakfast (again, very egg and protein focused for those protein addicts).
1000hrs: Leave for Crane Mountain. A tough climb but with incredible views from the top. The current round trip run is 1 hour and 17 minutes. It’s is steep and challenging but not dangerous and we will run it as a group. A superb way to start any day.
1200hrs: Back to the Brampton but if we have time we will stop for a quick jump into the famous Black Hole.
1400hrs: The van leaves for Manhattan and almost everyone sleeps all the way attempting to listen to podcasts they’ve been meaning to listen to for months.
1800hrs: Weekend over. Exchange numbers. Plan next adventure….
